Great Big Beautiful Life by Emily Henry

Our Happy Place Book Club recommendation for May is Emily Henry’s Great Big Beautiful Life. You might know and love Emily already because she’s written loads of brilliant novels. One of them is actually called Happy Place and that’s how I found out all about her! But I love this new book, it’s such a great story. You’ve got Alex, you’ve got Hayden, and there’s a will they won’t they plot line. They’re both writers and they’re both trying to get the gig to write an autobiography about a reclusive heiress.

This is such a great read, especially if you’re going on holiday. I read it over Easter while I was at the beach and I couldn’t put it down. But even if you’re not sunbathing, I know this will prove to be a really lovely little chunk of escapism for you. It takes you to a beautiful location with a glamorous character and a little bit of romance, so it’s just perfect! I really hope you love reading along with us.
